Seismic Risk Analysis of Soft Story Properties in San Francisco
This is a risk assessment of Soft Story Properties in San Francisco, California. The structures are ranked on a variety of attributes that impact risk of damage and destruction during a seismic event. The goal of this project is to highlight the risk of non-compliant Soft Story Properties in order to inform seismic retrofitting decision-making. It was found that San Francisco’s most hazardous zone is in the northeastern part of the city. There is a high density of non-compliant properties in this area. There is a decreasing risk trend from the northeast to the southwest part of the city. Most non-compliant Soft Story properties would be at a moderate or low risk during an earthquake. 19.5% of the structures analyzed would be at high risk, and 10.9% have a minimal risk ranking. The lowest and highest risk rates are the smallest groups in this study area.

Relationship Between Parks and Land Value in San Francisco, CA
This project aims to answer the questions:
Is there a correlation between proximity to open spaces (parks and rec areas) and property value?
Do Park Scores influence property value (either negatively or positively)? Would two homes that are equally distanced away from parks of unequal scores have vastly different property values?

Smaller Works
These are some more examples of the spatial analysis and GIS work I have done. These maps were made purely for analysis and do not follow cartographic principals.

Geodatabase of Pipe Networks
To create this layout I digitized a paper map of city pipe networks and created a geodatabase.

Change in Assault Density
This map uses kernel density of assault incidents, streetlight locations, and land use zoning to analyze the change in assault incidents between 2011 and 2015.

Optimized Response Route of 911 Calls
I used ArcMap Network Analyst and ArcGis Pro to optimize a route for pickup of Drunk in Public 911 calls.

Risk of Soil Erosion in 2012 and 2016
Used Weighted Overlay and DEM Slope in Model Builder to analyze the potential of soil erosion based on significant attributes.

Change in DUI Density
This map uses point density of DUI's, streetlight locations, and land use zoning to analyze the change in DUI incidents between 2011 and 2015.
